What they did
Sovathchean, who writes in Khmer on Medium, wanted a short explainer video about the rice cooker found in most Cambodian homes. They cloned Ann Nguyen's MIT-licensed Anatomy Reveal skill into the Claude Code skills folder, opened a new session, attached a single photo of the cooker and asked in plain words for a reveal video. The skill has the agent study the photo, write a short brief with dimensions, a grouped parts list and the moving functions, then rebuild the object to scale from simple convex parts. It checks that no parts collide when pulled apart, renders each frame with motion blur through a headless Chrome, and encodes an MP4 with ffmpeg. The author wrote no script, built no 3D model and did no editing.
How it went
Claude returned a video of about 38 seconds that shows the whole cooker, removes the glass lid, inner pot, outer shell, heating plate, thermostat, magnet, lever and indicator lights, fuse and wiring one at a time, and walks through the switch from COOK to WARM. The author then checked the physics it described, a magnet that lets go at about 103°C once the water is gone, and found it correct. The skill also produced a web page where the cooker can be rotated and taken apart by hand.
Worth knowing
Rendering is slow: roughly two minutes of compute for every second of video, so a 10-second test is the sensible first run. The skill needs Node 20 or newer, Chrome or Edge, ffmpeg and ImageMagick 7 on the machine. A clear side or three-quarter photo works best. The author describes the agent as Claude and installs the skill with the Claude Code command; the creator asks for credit when the skill is used.
