What they did
The poster, u/EryumT, runs n8n in a homelab with 25 active workflows for their business. The one they use most starts with an n8n Form where they upload a vertical video. A local model, Ornith 1.5 35B on a mini PC, rewrites the caption to suit each platform. n8n then sends an approval request on Telegram, and only after the poster approves does it upload the video natively to YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook, with no public video URL or tunnel needed. Other workflows in the same setup reply to Instagram and Facebook comments that contain a keyword with a public reply and a DM carrying the promised resource (replacing ManyChat), plus GitHub CI and release notes, sales follow-ups and homelab alerts.
How it went
The poster says the video flow is the one they lean on most and that it runs day to day. The keyword reply workflow has sent around 85,000 messages since July, logged in n8n Data Tables. They give no time-saved or cost numbers. The hard parts were LinkedIn chunked uploads and the Instagram and Facebook resumable uploads, which they offered to explain.
Worth knowing
Everything that goes public waits for a tap in Telegram, and every node's error output feeds one alert. Commenters pointed out the gap: if a platform accepts an upload but n8n times out first, a retry can post twice, so key each publish on video id plus platform. One commenter questioned whether an LLM is needed at all. The workflow itself was not shared.
