Audit a website's SEO and fix titles, descriptions and share previews

Divyam Sharma ran the claude-seo plugin in Claude Code on the site Design Gallery; it found 54 of 60 sampled titles too long and near-identical text on 94 of 104 topic pages, and fixes shipped to all 141.

What they did

Sharma installed claude-seo, a community Claude Code plugin, ran its setup and health check commands, and asked Claude to review the design showcase site, Design Gallery, for technical issues, page content, structured data, keywords and competitors. Sharma told it to write a report first and change nothing until the findings had been reviewed and approved. Sharma then had it carry out the approved fixes: shorter titles, a real heading and introduction on the homepage, unique titles, descriptions and introductions for every topic page, links between related topics, structured data that points each designer to their profile, and lighter image loading.

How it went

Of 60 sampled pages, 54 had titles that were too long, and 94 of 104 topic pages shared nearly the same description. The homepage's only heading was the logo lettering. Some share images used a format X, Facebook and LinkedIn do not reliably show, so they were converted to JPEG and checked with live links. All 141 topic pages were updated, and a bug that counted every analytics event twice was found and fixed. Sharma has no ranking or traffic results yet.

Worth knowing

Without a paid keyword data source the plugin's keyword ideas are based on search intent, not real search volumes. It corrected one of its own findings during the run, so check the report against the live site before approving changes.

Audit the SEO of [my website or repo]: page titles and descriptions, headings, structured data, internal links, image formats used for social share previews, and analytics tracking. Sample at least [number] pages and give me counts for each problem with example URLs. Write the findings as a report and do not change any file yet.
